Professional Selling concentration

There is an increasing need for salespeople in all industries, and the College of Business is constantly receiving requests for qualified salespeople recommendations. If you enjoy working with people, are a critical thinker, and are driven, you should consider a career in sales. As a marketing major, you can customize your curriculum with a professional selling concentration.

Our students excel in regional and national sales competitions yearly, with individuals and teams almost always placing in the top 5. The department is also home to the Northwestern Mutual Professional Sales and Research Program, complete with a sales lab. In the lab, students can practice their sales techniques with professionals in many fields. The Professional Sales and Research Program also provides two endowed scholarships for enrolled students.
